Let’s continue on my journey: time was quickly passing and I experienced more complex symbolism. Through this process I acquired more conceptual knowledge and therefore learned more lessons for growth.
Through my own personal understanding of experience itself, I became an advocate for virtuous thinking, feeling and action (which I call the v-three). I found that the v-three is present in many traditional texts, sometimes before and sometimes after learning their philosophical and practical importance in my life.
Through investigation, I came to acknowledge how documented it is that there are universal keys many traditional cultures have used to unlock their individual and collective connection to the universe. Concepts related to v-three include peace, respect, compassion, truth, love, charity, humility, harmony, acceptance, creativity, service, wisdom, reverence and humour, to name but a few.
Living the v-three was sometimes contradicted by many socially-accepted dogmas--principles that are assumed to be positive for society even if they have a stronger negative impact.
There was, however, a subtle but strong movement in the West, stemming primarily from the East, claiming“We are all One” (which I obviously resonated with strongly), yet much of the scientific, academic and secular establishments were either ridiculing or just ignoring this view.
With so many different people in my personal life who were clearly lying at times and mistaken at others, as well as the many mutually-exclusive institutional bigotries of thought claiming to know the answers, how did I reinforce the truth of what I had learned and ensure I uncovered the fact from fiction?
In the early naughties, as is today, Science was the dominating bearer of truth across western thought. The scientific method of measure and reason was above all else, so of course I subjected my beliefs to its superiority. As I’ve already discussed, I continually measured data of my experience and reasoned with the results.
I mean, there was no other way to test this, I was the only one who could repeat the experiments so I’d better bloody be careful because I didn’t want to blow it and end up in crazy town. Yet it was still clear, even with all my skepticism, that I was getting the same result--not only were the internal and the external one and the same thing and it’s up to my free choice to align the two, but living in accordance with the v-three provided me with a balanced life and helped me to achieve ongoing contentment.
Even though I have been convinced near countless times I still question my beliefs in each relevant moment because, on the surface, experience can really seem quite random and desolate. But, every time I undertake a comprehensive critique my understanding is reinforced, some moments more mind-bendingly than others.
So as I was to discover, what I was experiencing wasn’t accepted in orthodox science, the mainstream media or the common sense of social thought and dialogue. Synchronicity was convincingly happening to me, so I investigated alternative theories to help me to explain it.As it turned out, a variety of both scientific and esoteric disciplines were in combination paramount to understand what was happening to me. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to go into informational detail from a plethora of areas which melt the icy barrier between Science and Spirituality; nevertheless, it has been done by many philosophers, scientists and/or mystics alike, especially over the last few decades, so you won’t have to look far.
I will at least provide a short list of the scientific disciplines which have captured the attention of those yearning to bridge this gap: Sacred Geometry; Quantum Physics; Physics; Bioenergetics; Neurobiology; Cosmology; Biology; Quantum Biology; Epigenetics; and Mathematics, to name but a few.
There is also a tonne of credible (peer-reviewed) psi-related studies which continually show statistically significant results in favour of the reality of interconnection between the internal mind and the external world (even more convincingly through meta-analysis).
Then, of course, there are many so-called pseudoscience disciplines which anecdotally illustrate the blending of mind and body. Additionally, much Eastern and Western doctrine discuss the intimate interconnection between the inside and outside, too. There are also countless other writers, poets and artists that each philosophical adventurer has the opportunity to personally resonate with to further their understanding and growth.
Owning our Freedom of Choice:
Now, as I said earlier, I didn’t originally believe in magic, so in what magic do I now believe?
There are many definitions such as divine intervention, energetic exchange from alternate realities, psi-related phenomena such as psychokinesis, illusion etc., yet there’s one simple definition that most closely relates to my own experience--the Illustration of Interconnection.
The external reflection of an interconnected pattern of symbolic concepts, which represents meaning, purpose and oneness, is the magic in my world. In other words, from an equalistic perspective the magician is the inner and the outer worlds and magic connects the two.
So, how did I mentally grasp the interconnections? Interpretation is the master key! We have the freedom to interpret our experience as we wish. In every moment there is an ocean of information that we decipher to coherently understand both the parts and the whole of our experience.
As many sceptics might say: of course we’re going to be psychologically attracted to patterns and themes that make the most sense because we naturally make sense of our world to survive. That always makes me laugh because, if you know how to look, with just the right balance of reason and intuition, there’s still an overwhelming slap in the face that you are in fact slapping yourself in the face.
For me, to maintain denial of the synchronistic experience was to develop a bias against the evidence and inhibit my growth. Many Materialists inaccurately claim their position is proven, but it’s now clearly documented that their metaphysical belief is merely assumption, not fact.
The ramifications of an interconnected reality are incredible--if we really are unified to everything else, then there is no innate difference between the inside and outside. That idea alone has the power to change the v-three of not just each individual but an entire global society.
However, let’s put aside for one moment who’s truly right and let’s conduct a thought experiment. If you had a choice, would you neurologically design or tune a mind to be characterised by purpose, freedom, connection and meaning or would you choose a pointless, robotic, random and meaningless existence? An astonishingly unscientific approach by the Materialists would have you blindly accept the latter, even with accumulating contradictory evidence.
Materialism generally states that consciousness and freedom are illusions and that they’re not really real in their own right as they’re just an epiphenomenon of the physical brain. Yet the most rational and intuitive experience about being is alive is that we’re consciously free.
Freedom is the capacity to make free conscious choices on how we think, feel and behave, so if freedom is illusory as materialists claim, then there is nothing innately real about subjectivity. Because most people believe they’re making free choices, that’s just like saying, “I am going to choose one of two potential dreams; the first one is living with meaning and freedom, but I’m going to choose the second one, which has no meaning and no freedom, because I choose to believe the assumptions of the current academic orthodoxy.”
It isn’t possible to choose to have no freedom, it’s self-contradictory. And even if it was possible, any person in their right mind would choose the first dream. Yet, there are many allegedly ‘educated’ people aroundthe world who have chosen the second dream. They’re making an incorrect assumption that the Materialist metaphysical philosophy, advocated for by the pop stars of materialistic science, is true.
You’d think a true scientist and true science would at least objectively explore all the information available and not just listen to a few die-hard bigots who are more than capable of lying to themselves and everyone else to justify their so-called expert position.
I personally believe that freedom is real, just like the majority of humanity, so from my point of view they choose the choice of no choices. If only they knew they do have a choice. The truth is free choice does exist and there is something interconnecting the subjective and objective realities; finally its beginning to be understood by scientific endeavour centuries after many ancient traditions and cultures already had worked it out.
Whatever corporate or ideological agendas may be influencing academia’s embarrassingly relentless denial of the paradigm shift philosophy and science is undertaking, the fact remains that more and more people, educated and not, are waking up to the death of materialism and are embracing the innate reverence of Equalism-living, or Equal-living, and its v-three practicalities.
We must remember this isn’t just a theory of reality based in science and philosophy; for me and many others this is literally an experience of reality.
The Orchestra of Reality:To recap, I’ve advocated for an omnipresent core which interconnects the internal and external worlds. No matter what that core is (pun intended), it’s clear that it’s not fundamentally matter, but it can be expressed in both mind and matter.
The scientific conception of material reality describes everything as fundamentally energy and vibration and that’s how I conceive the information represented in symbolism--as vibrations or certain frequencies of energy. An analogy to describe how I have Equal-lived is an Orchestra.
The definition of an Orchestra is the following: the silence where a symphony is created by both a conductor and other members playing sounds from their instruments. Notice that you cannot have a symphony without silence because if there is no silence then there is no context that a symphony could be heard within--it would all be just some type of noise.
That whole process applied to an Equal-lived life is an aware subject and external objects which interconnect as something from nothing.
Old and new symbols that we strongly resonate with are like old and new instruments that we conduct in the symphony.
Therefore, our shared consciousness is a symphony that we co-create within the Orchestra of Reality.
Through this growing understanding of our shared consciousness we can come to realise that the attraction between the in and out is a practical guide for us to grow, and that growth is our right, our natural destiny.
We can think of destiny as being analogous to a half-pipe made of snow and fate as a man snowboarding down the half-pipe as he freely chooses. It’s much easier and efficient to board down the centre i.e. direct growth, but you can always choose the fate of riding the edge just to get some fresh air and take the fast ride down.
This makes sense if you think about the lows and highs that we are all guilty of putting ourselves through, sometimes for our entire lives, whilst more often than not slowly getting to the core of how we need to grow to overcome the many sources of our dysfunction and suffering. Yet if we continually ride the walls of the half-pipe, we’ll always be gravitationally attracted back to the pipe’s centre--that you can count on.
Ultimately, we’re guided by our innate path of development, yet, it’s still always our choice of how we align ourselves to our destiny; that is, our natural and meaningful growth. In essence, I have come to the conclusion that the symbolism and synchronicity of my experience is simply a reflection of my core self, of our core selves. It has shown me that I am purely the same thing as everything else and to therefore v-three accordingly.
That’s why it’s paramount that I give and take justly and honour life respectfully and lovingly. There are many people who have fallen victim to the brainwashing of the orthodox scientific view of reality without questioning it and I strongly encourage them to hit the refresh button and start at the very core--their own subjective experience.
How free are your choices? What connections occur between the inside and outside? How many extraordinary experiences have you had and how have you incorporated them into your philosophy on life?
Although it’s literally impossible to be purely objective, we can be subjectively objective and make critical assessments of our own experience, so I recommend over the coming weeks and months to watch how many so-called conceptual coincidences occur within your reality. As you pay more attention to them, you may watch them increase and amplify to a point where you may be in a place to convincingly understand them as synchronicities.
On that note, I’m sure you’ve been wondering why I haven’t provided specific examples of how my subjective experience and the objective world have synchronised, but I decided that would be unjust.
I will at least confess to magically reconciling with my first and greatest love after our necessary journey apart. But I figured trying to explain such experiences to another person is like trying to spin a part-truth into a whole truth--it’s still simply a part truth.
Just like any personal experience, which has many layers of memory, emotion, thought, concept, understanding and expectation--all influencing it--an attempt to convey my subjective experience through the limitation of language will always inherently be a part reflection of a whole truth.
So ultimately, it’s up to each individual to work out themselves how to freely conduct their shared-symphony within the Orchestra of Reality.
